New Project...

Hello all! It's been a few months since my last post but that doesn't mean I haven't been working on anything! I am currently part of a video game project for the new Ouya console that is coming out soon. I don't believe I'm allowed to post anything yet, though a development blog is being discussed. Hopefully I can post something soon! Our team has done some awesome work so far and I would love to share it when I get the chance.

I am back and plan on posting here a lot more. It seems like I have been dead to the world for the past 7 months. I have been working on updating my portfolio site here but it is not finished yet.

Anyway, look forward to a lot more stuff! In the meantime, cats:

My computer is finally dying, and a few days ago I bought a new one. Should be ready sometime next week. It's gonna be a super awesome graphics and gaming desktop! Whoo! Then I shall post some stuff.

Tectonic Games Art Test

I took an another art test a while ago for a start up company and here's the stuff I submitted.

Art Test + The Dreamcrusher

So at the GDC I met the senior artist for Riot Games, the people who make League of Legends. He liked my turnarounds and lineart. He said, here, email me, and I'll send you an art test. I signed an NDA for it, so that's all I can talk about for it. But! I just now turned it in so we'll see how it goes!

I wanted to post the other concept art for this piece, but since I'm back home in Smith River ATM and I want to post a piece of art, here is my latest work (besides the art test). I created myself into a League of Legends character. This is Ayls, the Dreamcrusher. Giant meat tenderizer.

40 Stories: Old Anita Concepts

So I couldn't work on my business card because I left my stylus in Chico. So this weekend it will be worked on. I decided to upload old concepts of Anita, the main character, from 40 Stories. I have more design pics, but those are in a sketchbook back at the apartment.. will post later maybe. For those of you who don't know what 40 Stories is:

Finally...

I have a business card idea. I will do it tomorrow, since it is already late, and then I will send it off to print! I have been thinking of what would be a good concept art/illustration card. Business cards are what represent you when after someone collects them and goes back to look at them. They should have a theme, of what field you are interested in, in my opinion. I was looking through a bunch of the cards I've gotten from the GDC, and a lot just don't spark my interest. Oh look, this person is a concept artist? What a boring card, this tells me hardly anything about them. D: Let's see if I can make something awesome.
